Financial Aid

Financial Aid
Higher education doesn’t have to be a financial burden on you or your family. Why? Because the federal government offers more than $150 billion each year to assist millions of students in financing their educational goals. Prospective students can locate and apply for scholarships at any number of private and public institutions.

However, to receive federal aid from the government, you must file the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Government administered student loans for career training are only awarded to students who file the FAFSA. In addition, governmental grants for career training can only be awarded to students who apply for federal aid.

What’s the difference?
Student loans must be repaid. Federal grants are gifts that don’t require repayment.

Student Loans For Career Training
A student loan for cosmetology school from federal resources is the best choice for borrowing money to cover your tuition, if eligible. The federal government offers the best options for repayment, including a non-interest accruing grace period while the student is still attending school. File your FAFSA today to determine your eligibility!

Student Grants For Career Training
There is a wide array of factors that might determine your eligibility for a federal grant to help pay for your career training. The only way to find out is by completing the FAFSA application. Find out more about Federal Student Aid, a branch of the U.S. Department of Education.
